the sustainability program at the university of dayton provides our students an understanding and appreciation of the interdisciplinary aspects of sustainability, energy, and the environment. our goal is to equip students with the tools to implement sustainability in their careers.

the university of dayton board of trustees today approved bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees in sustainability, which students can start in august 2019. according to a 2017 report published by the environmental defense fund and climate corps, the number of sustainability jobs has increased by about 1 million in the last six years.read more
the european union has awarded university of dayton researcher bob brecha a two-year, $200,000 marie skłodowska-curie individual fellowship to work with berlin-based climate analytics on bringing renewable energy to developing countries and examining the impact on areas accessing electricity for the first time. only about 14 percent of applicants receive the marie skłodowska-curie individual fellowship.read more
