chart of accounts

introduction

on july 1, 2019, the university of dayton launched a new chart of accounts. identified as chart f, it replaced chart d and works to address financial needs relating to university growth, budgeting and reporting, consistent verbiage across campus, and the university’s erp system.


this site provides detailed information regarding chart f, including project information, foapal string segment definitions, upcoming trainings and resources, and frequently asked questions. please check back regularly for updates. for weekly status reports, please go to the communications page. you can also contact coa@udayton.edu with additional questions or concerns.

announcements:

the new chart of accounts is now live and all systems are back online.  in-person and online resources and support will continue to be available to all campus community members to begin work with the new system. the go-live email sent to campus can be found on the communications page.

 

procurement and payable services has had to change the locations for their august open labs. paymentnet/purchasing card labs will now be hosted in anderson hall 129 on august 2 from 8:30 am-12:00 pm and on august 5 from 1:00 pm-4:30 pm. attendees are encouraged to bring their purchasing card receipts for july.

the new chart d-chart f crosswalk tool is now live! it is available at go.udayton.edu/coa-xwalk. a corresponding job aid will be available on the training resources page shortly.

information regarding changes to paymentnet for p-card processing will be provided later in the summer.
